A Council meeting was held via Teams on 18th of May. The Council reviewed updates from the Chairpersons of the Council and from the Board members, addressed the capital investment in TCR-Palvelut Oy and selected the Vice Chairperson of the Central Election Committee.

Updates from the Council’s Chairpersons and teams
The Chairpersons of the Council have, for example, attended Board meetings and Tamko’s and TREY’s grouping session and participated in the returning event of the Tursaspassi passport and in the planning of the Tuutorikiitos event. The Chairpersons of the Council will also participate in the spring getaway next weekend.
As for the teams, the entertainment team will organize communal activities as soon as the restrictions are reduced, and a TikTok account for the Council is being planned by the communications team.
Updates from the Board
In addition to meetings, the Board members have participated in several working groups related to, for example, student well-being, capability to study and the quality of teaching, and they have met several stakeholders, such as the executive group, educational affairs representatives from student associations and clubs and mayoral candidates. The subject of the Board’s evening session was the Code of Conduct, and it will be further worked on in the spring getaway.
Board members have also participated in Tamko’s and TREY’s grouping session and in the planning and organizing of vappu events, and they have organized tutor trainings and the returning event of the Tursaspassi passport. Board members and Tamko’s employees will participate in the spring getaway this weekend in which the progress of the autumn is discussed, and future activities are planned.
Capital investment in TRC-Palvelut Oy
The share capital of TRC-Palvelut Oy should be increased so that the planned selling of consumer goods could commence. The matter has been discussed beforehand with Council members and Board members, and the capital investment has gathered support in these discussions. Ilari Savikko was authorized to act as Tamko’s representative in the general meeting of TCR-Palvelut Oy, and he is authorized to decide on the investment in the company’s shares.
The selection of the Vice Chairperson of the Central Election Committee
Jonna Seppälä was selected as the Vice Chairperson of the Central Election Committee.
