The continuing members can pay their memberships for the next year through Tamko’s membership register here. Paying through our membership register the payment goes straight to our register for us to see.
You can also pay the membership in our office, Solu (cash or credit card). There you also get the new sticker for the card.

Members who haven’t paid the multiyear membership and wish to continue their Tamko membership can choose between 1 year payment and half a year payment options. Payment can be made at our office.
Please remember to bring the payment receipt with you if you’ve paid the membership fee to our bank account.

After you have paid the membership, please send us a receipt of payment since online payments do not automatically appear in our system. You can send the receipt to a following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Student card stickers
The student card has a sticker which shows that the student card is valid. There are two kind of stickers: an academic year sticker and term sticker. New members will get their sticker when they fetch their card from our office.
Stickers are valid as follows:
01/2023 (fall term) yellow sticker is valid 1.8.2022-31.1.2023
09/2023 (academic year) orange sticker is valid 1.8.2022-30.9.2023

Mailing of your academic year sticker
Usually new academic year stickers are to be picked up from Tamko’s office but if you live outside of Tampere you can buy mailing to your sticker through Kide.app for the price of 2,20€. We only mail stickers for students who live outside of Tampere. You can purchase the mailing for the sticker from this link: https://kide.app/products/8987538d-0810-487e-8455-843b8a43ff73
Meanwhile the sticker arrives from mail we recommend to use mobile student card to get all the student discounts that you would get using the physical card. A Tamko member can use the student card found in the Tuudo mobile application free of charge when using student discounts.
ORDERING A NEW STUDENT CARD
You can order new student card to replace a lost or broken one with this form. With that form you can also download new picture to the new card.
NOTE! You can’t become a new member by using this form!
If you order a new card due to a name change please contact email@example.com since with this form you can’t change name.

You can pay the fee through the ordering form above or by cash or card at our office when you pick up the new card.
NOTE! By joining the student union, ordering a student card, or extending membership in the union, the student confirms that they have read and accepted terms and conditions of granting the student card and agreed to follow them. In addition, the student accepts that their personal information, contact information, right to study and member eligibility are verified from the student and study registers of Tampere University of Applied Sciences. The student agrees to their membership information being transferred from the register of Tamko to TAMK’s database and onwards to the databases of Finnish National Agency for Education such as Virta and Koski databases.
During the time between 1st of December 2022 and 31st of January 2023 we offer two service providers for the mobile student card: Pivo and Tuudo. Because of this reason information about the member will be transferred to both service providers if the member is or will be using both during the mentioned time period.

The prospective member of Tamko also consents to the necessary information about their membership being transferred to Tuudo. This happens so Tuudo can confirm that they are, in fact, a student and a member. The transfer of information will only happen if the student uses the service provider in question.
