1. Solu opening hours during week 9

Winter holiday week, more commonly known as self studying week, is approaching and it affects Tamko’s office Solu’s opening hours.

Our office doors are open in reduced length during week 9 (26.2.-1.3.)

Monday       10 am – 2 pm
Tiistai           10 am – 2 pm
Wednesday  10 am – 2 pm
Thursday      10 am – 2 pm
Friday                closed

However, during opening hours, you are welcome to borrow suitable equipment for winter sports sledges, sliders, hockey sticks, ice skates, and ice fishing equipment!

2. Feedback sessions

Student feedback was collected last year in the spring and autumn feedback weeks in the form of a new student and annual feedback surveys. Feedback was also collected from master´s degrees and through Graduation phase survey.  
 
During the spring, students and staff will discuss the feedback at joint degree programme specific events, in which the possible development measures will also be agreed. 
 
Follow your Degree Programme’s info on the time of the feedback events, get involved and share your ideas!

3. HUBIKLUBI X VETO AFTERSKI

WHAT? HUBIKLUBI X VETO AFTERSKI
WHERE? Tullikamari, Tullikamarin aukio 2, 33100 Tampere
WHEN? February 20, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
FOR WHOM? Open to all students
WHY? Let’s have fun together!
HOW MUCH? Free of charge

VETO Club, in collaboration with Tullikamari’s Hubiklubi, is organizing an Afterski event with no entrance fee, so come and enjoy the winter atmosphere and great music!

The ticket includes coat check. Student-priced drinks are available throughout the evening at the club’s counter. Also, VETO Club’s branded drinks can be found on the evening’s drink menu. The fantastic DJ vni.rv will keep us dancing all night.

4. PIMPLA 2024 – ice fishing championship

Annual ice fishing championship PIMPLA is a few weeks away!

Show your fishing skills and become the ice fishing champion. The event is hosted by TIRO & Tampio at Sahansaarenkatu, 33250 Tampere on 10th of march. Fishers and personal cheerleaders are welcome, but shh don’t scare the fish away. Instead enjoy other outdoor activities and sauna.

The project has been funded by Metsämiesten Säätiö. Donations are an important part of the effectiveness of the Foundation’s charitable activities. More information at mmsaatio.fi

The event and the competition starts at 12:00. Fishing time is 3 hours. Catch will be weighted and the person with the biggest catch will win. The best three fishers will be awarded!

5. Welcome to celebrate friendship at Kamula!

Welcome to celebrate friendship at Kamula!
Wed 21.2. at 16-21
At 16-17 speed friending to newcomers
Free of charge, ei pre-registration.

The program (at 17-21) includes:
– A friendship-themed icebreaker bingo
–  muffin decorating
– games and activities
– friendship day card and bracelet crafting
– filling out Kamula’s friend book
– of course treats!

6. T-ITSE LABRA

Put on a safari hat and go exploring! Jump on the gameboard alone or together with your friends and go do the T-ITSE LABRA organized by TIRO!

During the evening you will be visiting in bars where you will enjoy 1-3 drinks and at the same time you write a report on the course of the evening.

An event pass for which stamps are collected costs 6€ for TIRO ry’s members and 8€ for non-members. Adventurers can buy a PISTOT ticket from this sale in advance for the March party.
