- Tamko’s mobile student card can be found from Tuudo!
Previously used Pivo -app’s mobile student card will be deactivated at the end of January 2023, so download Tuudo -app now and start using Tamko’s mobile student card there!
If you have paid Tamko’s membership fee and are registered for attendance at TAMK you can activate mobile student card to use alongside you plastic student card. You get all the same discounts and benefits when using mobile student card or plastic card.
Tuudo is a free app, that has been made to make students’ life a bit easier. in addition to Tamko’s mobile student card, you can find from Tuudo example your timetables, study credits, reservations for classrooms and other TAMK’s spaces, cafeteria’s menu and course enrolments, quite handy!

2. Tamko’s Christmas party 14.12.
Tamko’s Christmas party 2022 will be held on Wednesday 14.12. in Bricks. Pikkujoulut (little Chrismas in Finnish) is an annual non-formal pre-Christmas party. Doors will open at 10PM.

You can also buy a ticket at the door of the Bricks at 11PM for 6€. With pre-sale ticket you will also get a Tamko’s Christmas party overall patch.

3. Solu is closed tomorrow 6.12.
Tomorrow 6.12. is Finland’s Independence day and Tamko’s office Solu is closed.
You are welcomed to visit our office again on Wednesday 7.12. for example to borrow ice skates, board games or get some free coffee 🙂
4. Roller Derby tournament 17.12.
Tampere Roller Derby hosts the second tournament of Roller Derby Finnish Championship series in Tampere on 17.12.2022!
There will be two fierce games when Helsinki Roller Derby Bees faces Oulu Roller Derby and Tampere Roller Derby All-Stars faces Kallio Rolling Rainbow.

Accessibility:
Kauppi Sports Center is, for the main part, accessible.
The track is on ground level. The main entrance is automatized. There is a low threshold at the doorway between the main hall and the track. An accessible toilet is located next to the elevator on the ground floor. No entrance fees for personal assistants.

5. The World Championships of Academic kyykkä 2023
The World Championships of Academic kyykkä 2023 (Akateemisen kyykän MM-kilpailut) will return to Hervanta! Students from all around Finland will compete each other in the game of Kyykkä on the 11th of February, 2023.
There are two series in the Championships: general series and pro series. Team ticket sales for the general series will begin on 12.12 at 10 o’clock in Kide.app!
Info on how to apply for pro series will be announced later, stay tuned.
The Championships of Academic kyykkä has of course an official afterparty! More on that later as well.
