4. Share good – charity event

IDid you find unused candles, batteries or oven mitts during your spring cleaning? What’s useless to you, could come in handy for someone else!
We are organizing the Share Good charity event, where you can help fellow students by bringing items you don’t need. In return, you can take what you need. The Share Good event is a way to help students who are in a tight situation financially and of course encourage recycling!
Pre-donation stand at TAMK’s lobby on 9.4. at 11–13
At the pre-donation stand, you can bring your donations that we will give out at the charity event. Items, that are in great condition, find new homes and a new meaning in students’ day-to-day lives.
Charity event at TAMK’s lobby on 17.4. at 10–14
On the day of the charity event, you can still donate items and take what you need – for free!

6. SportUni fee prices will be equalized

SportUni prices will be the same for all students!
The pricing is equalized among all students, and in the next season (from 1.8.2024), all TAMK students will be able to purchase SportUni’s sports fee for the same affordable student price. The new prices will be updated in May 2024.
Tamko supports this from an equality perspective, as exercising is important for the well-being of every student!
In other words, Tamko members’ sports fee will not increase, but it will be the same for all students in the future. Our cooperation with SportUni will continue and we will continue to make an impact in order to provide the best possible sports opportunities in the University community.
Tamko wants to encourage everyone to move in the most comfortable way for themselves!

7. Kalevan K*nni Kierros

Morning is breaking. Badger feels warmth on his face and opens his swollen eyes to see the source of light… glaring floodlights?! Badger looks around bewildered, finding himself on an otherwise deserted stadium. Memories of yesterday’s cheers and the familiar discomfort of being a couch potato start coming back to him. Declaring himself the Zlatan of his own life after “a few” drinks during the viewing party might have led to some close encounters with the astroturf.
Badger’s head is pounding, and his mouth craves hydration…
Fortunately, things aren’t as dire as they seem! Badger recalls that the springtime Kaleva always offers a delicious selection of recovery drinks, including the star-marked hydration elixir. “Off to Kaleva!” Badger exclaims.
Join Badger in celebrating the ninth Kalevan K*nni Kierros on April 11, 2024!
This interdisciplinary pub crawl event will introduce participants to Kaleva’s taverns.
Tickets on sale on Kide.app! And the ticket price won’t break the bank: 5.97€.
Please note that you need to exchange your ticket for a pass at the TTO stand.
Pass exchange on Tuesday, April 9th, from 10 am to 2 pm at TAMK.
