Student events bring joy to the everyday life of exams and lectures. There are a lot of different events organized weekly around Tampere from the sport related events to excursions, alcohol and non alcohol events also. Most of the events are organized by student associations and clubs of the Tampere Universities and that means that many events are cross-disciplinary so all students in the University Community can participate in the events. 15:00: Kalevan K*nni Kierros 2024 – 
Aamu sarastaa. Badger tuntee lämmön kasvoillaan ja raottaa turvonneita silmiään huomatakseen valonlähteeksi… hervottomat valonheittimet?! Badger katselee hämmentyneenä ympärilleen muuten autiolla stadionilla. Mieleen alkaa muistua eiliset kannustushuudot ja penkkiurheilijalle tutut peräpukamavaivat. Oman elämänsä Zlataniksi julistautuminen “muutaman” kisakatsomojuoman jälkeen saattoivat vaikuttaa lähikontaktiin tekonurmikon kanssa. Badgerin pää tuntuu kipeältä ja suukin kaipaa palautusjuomaa… Onneksi hätä ei ole tämän näköinen! Badgerin mieleen pilkahtaa, että keväisessä Kalevassa on aina ollut tarjolla herkullista palautusjuoman aatelia, tähtimerkittyä nesteytysjuomaa. “Kuono kohti Kalevaa!” Badger huudahtaa. Tulkaa Badgerin kanssa juhlistamaan jo yhdeksättä Kalevan K*nni Kierrosta 11.4.2024! Tämä poikkitieteellinen appro-tapahtuma tutustuttaa kulkijansa Kalevan kuppiloihin. Morning is breaking. Badger feels warmth on his face and opens his swollen eyes to see the source of light... glaring floodlights?! Badger looks around bewildered, finding himself on an otherwise deserted stadium. Memories of yesterday's cheers and the familiar discomfort of being a couch potato start coming back to him. Declaring himself the Zlatan of his own life after "a few" drinks during the viewing party might have led to some close encounters with the astroturf. Badger's head is pounding, and his mouth craves hydration... Fortunately, things aren't as dire as they seem! Badger recalls that the springtime Kaleva always offers a delicious selection of recovery drinks, including the star-marked hydration elixir. "Off to Kaleva!" Badger exclaims. Join Badger in celebrating the ninth Kalevan K*nni Kierros on April 11, 2024! This interdisciplinary pub crawl event will introduce participants to Kaleva's taverns. The year has flown by, and once again, we're hosting the traditional Wappu Startti with TTO, TIRO, PIRATE, and Tamko on April 17th from 4 pm to 8 pm at Ratinanniemi. Join us for an array of lively activities organized by clubs and student organizations. Roam around the stations in groups of up to five, soaking in the diverse and entertaining experiences! Upon arrival, grab your performance passport from the organizers' tent. Collect eight stamps from different stations, and claim your fabulous Wappu Startti overall patch from the organizers' tent. But wait, there's more – the organizers' tent will also feature fantastic raffles and additional activities guaranteed to boost your Wappu spirit! Tamko’s events
Tamko is involved in different kind of events, both as an organizer and as a partner. The most important thing is, however, to organize as versatile culture and leisure activities as possible. Tamko tries to take everyone into consideration to guarantee that majority of students could attend the events.
Established events organized by Tamko include for example the New Students’ event called Tursajaiset in September and January, the Gateway to Working Life recruitment event, studying year opening and closing partes and various advocacy and student welfare events on campuses.
