1. Students’ Union is looking for new harassment contacts!

Tamko is looking for new harassment contacts! Application form and more information.

  • Tamko’s harassment contacts support and advise persons who have experienced harassment under a secrecy and confidentiality agreement
  • The students selected for the position are trained. Tamko’s social affairs representative and employees support the selected harassment contacts in their work.

2. Council meeting 6.9. at 5pm (Teams)

Welcome to Council meeting on Monday 6th of September at 5pm. The meeting will be held via Teams. All the members of Tamko are welcome to join the meeting by signing up beforehand. You can also get a stamp on your Tursaspassi from this event! More info on the Facebook event.

Hey 3rd and 4th year student, you can now get mailing for your new academic year sticker for free! Order the free shipping from Kide.app.

This autumn campaign is valid until 30th of September 2021.

The intranet is the primary channel of internal communication and a gateway to other electronic services.

The intranet is your gateway to the latest news and events, study guidance, staff members’ contact information as well as all the information systems and electronic services that are available to our students. Visit the intranet regularly to keep up to date about everything going on at Tampere Universities!

5. NamiAppro 2021 6.9. at 1pm-8pm

NamiAppro is a café tour for students in Tampere, organized for the 13th time this year. During the afternoon you definitely will put your sweet tooth to the test, as several cafés lure you in with their tasty special offers. You will get to know your fellow students better, find new cafés to visit, and be rewarded with a playful Degree in Delicacies and an overall badge! Event in Facebook.

6. Academic Breeze Wind Orchestra (PAH ry) open rehearsals start 2.9.

Puhallinorkesteri Akateeminen Henkäys, or more familiarly PAH (freely translated as Academic Breeze Wind Orchestra), is a student wind orchestra founded in 2019. The orchestra was founded because of the need to have an active, good-quality wind orchestra for the students of Tampere. The objective of the orchestra is to offer the members of Tampere Universities community a good-quality, goal-oriented musical hobby activities. Our diverse repertoire consists of both classics and contemporary music, from marches to film scores.

Our open rehearsals are 2.9. and 9.9. at 18.30 in city centre campus. You can sign up for the rehearsals by contacting us via e-mail, pah.hallitus@gmail.com. Feel free to ask for more!

7. Join SportUni — get one sport course for free!

The fall season of SportUni starts on Monday 30 August. Shifts booking is required in all actions of SportUni. You can do it in SportUni Selection calendar with your Tuni ID.

Group exercise classes are held inside, outdoors and streamed remotely each day of the week. The range of sport courses is wide and all those who have paid the SportUni fee will receive one course free of charge in the fall season 2021.

Long-waited ball games shifts will also start rolling in the SportUni centres. You can still access to the gym and badminton by booking a shift. So pay the SportUni fee now online or at the customer service and join us! Welcome!
