Are your plans for Saturday June 13 still wide open? We’ve got a great event tip for you! Come join us in the student contingent at the Manse Pride parade to march for equality.
The blocks formation begins on Saturday, June 13 at 12:30 pm at Keskustori (Keskustori 1, 33200 Tampere) to the area between Hämeenkatu and Viistokatu, next to Tampereen teatteri. Please be there on time! The parade starts at 2pm, so please arrive by 1.30pm so you’ll have enough time to find the block.
The student’s joint block is number 25 and the location of your block is marked on the paving in numerical order. Blocks will start the march in this order as well. You can also identify the student’s block by TREY, Tako and Sekava banners.
Dress for the weather and in the spirit of student life! Overalls, teekkari cap, graduation cap, or vocational school graduation caps? Anything goes!
Sinuiksi ry employees and volunteers will be there to help and advise you in the formation of the blocks. They can be identified by their pink vests with the Sinuiksi ry logo on the back. Ask for help if you are lost! Please follow the safer space guidelines (the instructions here in Finnish) during the march. AiCan and the police are responsible for the safety of the march. Marchers must follow the instructions of Sinuiksi ry employees, volunteers, security guards, and authorities.
