Welcome to Parvi’s BetterTogether event to celebrate Valentine’s Day through shared activities, wellbeing, and a sense of community. The day is full of things to do and opportunities to connect — drop by for a moment or stay longer.
In the Teiskontie lobby from 11:00 to 13:00, a record-breaking 28 stands will offer a wide variety of activities and pleasant surprises. The programme includes a wheel of fortune, fishing games, quizzes and competitions, and other activities. There will also be doughnuts, the pastor’s pancakes, and sausage soup. You can also test your grip strength.
At Parvi, you can make Valentine’s Day cards and origami, and follow the Olympic Games studio broadcast. There will be opportunities for creativity, cheering others on, and spending time together in a relaxed atmosphere.
On the Stage from 13:00 to 13:45, there will be a session called “Body Care for Stiff Friends.” The instructor is body care specialist Carita Suuronen, and the session will be held in Finnish. The class is well suited for all students and staff and does not require special equipment — you can participate in regular clothes. The session includes mobility exercises, gentler stretching, and relaxation, with the goal of promoting overall wellbeing.

2. Solu is closed during self studying week

Self studying week is arriving soon (23.-27.2.) and our office Solu will be closed during that time.
But you are more than welcomed to visit us before that to pick up adacemid year stickers, have coffee or borrow ice skates for example! Until the self studying week we are open with reguar opening hours which are Mon-Thu at 10-15 and on Fridays 10-15. Hope to see you!

Old to New pop-up takes over Campusravita on Thursday 12.2
On Thursday, February 12, the Old to New pop-up takes over Campusravita from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
At the lunch line, enjoy nostalgic flavors from childhood, while CampusGrill serves today’s lunch hits. A perfect combination of old favorites and modern tastes awaits.
And the best part: the first 500 diners get a free overall patch!
This event is organized in collaboration with 3rd-year Hospitality students, Campusravita, and Saarioinen Food Service.
5. Speed Friending- event and sport buddy channel

Speed Friending -event
Are you looking for new friends or want to expand your social circle or maybe find new workout buddies? Join the student Speed Friending event and join the MoveMate – channel!
The Speed Friending event will take place on Monday, February 9, from 12.00 to 14.00 at the Navigaattori in the City Centre Campus (Linna) and at the Navigaattori in the Hervanta Campus (Main Building). You´ll have a few minutes to chat with each person – then we switch! Chats start ever half hour.
A relaxed and fun way to meet new friends! No need to prepare in advance, we will provide conversation starters and a laid-back atmosphere. Suprise for the first 50 participants!
The event is free, bilingual and alcohol-free. The event follows the principle of safer place and equality.

MoveMate- moving channel
In addition to the Speed Friending event, you can find a workout buddy on MoveMate – channel.
Through the MoveMate teams channel, you can find new friends from the Tampere university community to exercise with you. You can gather a group with a low threshold for your own games, jogging trails, group exercise classes, or just follow the news and pick up tips for independent exercise. You can freely arrange meetings on campuses, in nearby nature or at a sports venue.
