Our walk begins with a joint start in front of TAMK’s Solu. We get to admire the scenery during the walk and enjoy the heat and steam at the Rauhaniemis sauna temple. It will be a mixed sauna. From the sauna you can also take a dip in Lake Näsijärvi and we can use the changing rooms of the Rauhaniemi sauna. The grill will also be hot, so we recommend bringing your own food!

4. Welcome to free Winter Sports day 28.1.

Welcome to the winter sports day on Wednesday 28 January at 12:00-15:00 in the Kauppi Sport Park!

Join us for the SportUni Winter Sports Day! The day will take place in the Kauppi Sports Park area. There will be small competitions and plenty of other fun activities.

During the event, you will have the chance to try out and discover various sports, including possibly some new ones for you: football, finnish baseball, reaction game, elephant ball, sledding, snowshoeing, accuracy shooting, traditional skiing. There will also be some snacks available. Equipment can be borrowed onsite. Make sure to dress warmly. This event is free to attend.

Come have fun with us and your friends!

Winter sports day is organized by Student on the Move project, SportUni and students of Varala Sports Institute.

5. K-30 Lounge – an adult students’ own living room

K-30 Lounge – an adult student’s own living room Need a moment of respite during the school day? K-30 Lounge is a meeting place for adult students at TAMK, where you can relax with other adult students or take a moment alone.

The lounge is like a living room: you can come and chat, do some coloring or origami – or just be. There is a facilitator who will warmly welcome you, whether you are alone or with a friend. You can also come and eat your own snacks.

The lounge will be held in Parvi (B1-24) on Fridays from 11:30 to 12:30, on the following days:

  • 30.1.
  • 13.2.
  • 13.3.
  • 27.3.
  • 10.4.
  • 24.4.
  • 8.5.

The group is aimed specifically at blended learning students and other adult learners – but age will not be checked at the door! Come as you are, even if it’s just to drop by. 🙂
