2. Tamko’s student card 9/2025 sticker expires soon

Is there still a golden 9/2025 sticker on your student card?
Check it out just in case because that sticker is valid for the last day on September 30th. Come to our office and change the sticker to a new one and update your membership at the same time. We are open for you Mon-Thu 10-16 and on Fridays 10-15.
You can buy mailing for your sticker if you live outside of Tampere for the price of 3,50€

4. Apply for student representative to TAMK’s Advisory Boards

TAMK’s Advisory Boards are an important part of the cooperation between TAMK and working life. They support work-life orientation in education, continuous learning, and research and development activities.
In the Advisory Board, you can influence the development of your education together with the stakeholders in working life. There are two to four meetings a year, so the task doesn’t take much time but it offers even more opportunities and experiences! Tamko support student representatives with the activities of advisory boards.
The terms of office are two years and the current term of office will last until the end of 2026. The aim is to fill the student representative positions as soon as possible, so apply immediately.
All current positions require Finnish speaking skills, but we’ll update here if any open positions for English comes up.

– Construction engineering, Construction Site Management and Construction Architecture – in Finnish

First-year student, please complete the HealthStart questionnaire in the Self online service
If you started completing your first degree at an institution of higher education in the autumn semester 2025, you can now complete the HealthStart questionnaire in the Self online service. After completing the HealthStart questionnaire, you’ll receive feedback on your state of health and may be referred to health promotion services provided by the FSHS.
The health examination for first-year students begins with the HealthStart questionnaire, the aim of which is to help you and healthcare professionals check your health status and refer you to the appropriate services as early as possible at the beginning of your studies.
The HealthStart questionnaire examines your physical, mental and social health, as well as the key aspects of your health behavior and factors affecting your health, health behavior and ability to study.

7. K-pop Party

Tarina Ry.n and @kpopsuomiry‘s K-pop party will be held on 23.10 from 21:00-04:00 at the night club Bricks. Welcome to the party full of K-pop music, drinks that match the theme and a great show! In addition to dancing, the evening will also include other great programs where you can win great prizes. In addition, the evening will be unforgettable with a performance by the K-pop dance group @whos.trueblue.
