4. Scooter Safety Day at TAMK on 6.5.

Test your skills and try riding with “drunk goggles” in Scooter Safety Day

A Scooter Safety Day will be held in the courtyard of TAMK’s main campus on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00. The event aims to raise awareness of e-scooter rules and safe riding.

During the event, you can test your knowledge in Liikenneturva’s traffic rules quiz and try riding an e-scooter on a course using drunk goggles. The goggles demonstrate in a safe environment how intoxication affects riding an e-scooter.

The event is organized by the City of Tampere and Tampere University’s Mobility Mindshift project, Liikenneturva, the e-scooter company Voi, and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.

Join us to learn something new and test your skills in practice!

Come spend a spring day at Kamula and the Students on the move -project to organize a picnic & fun games event on Friday 8.5. at 6-7.30pm.

Members of the Tampere Universities can choose to either:

  • Leave their bike for a quick maintenance service by Willari (max. 15 minutes), or
  • Participate in a guided self-maintenance session with a professional, receiving practical tips along the way (e.g., pumping tires, oiling chains, reattaching dropped chains, adjusting gears).

Event schedule:

– Tuesday 12 May, 12–14 – TAMK Main Campus, in the courtyard on the Teiskontie side, near the end of the A wing
