Student, you are the expert on your studies and their smooth running is a matter for all of us. The best way to bring your views to the attention of TAMK and your degree program is to participate in the Feedback Sessions during March-April!
Feedback Sessions are sector-specific discussion events where feedback from students is reviewed, a snapshot of the situation of the studies is shared, and development measures are agreed upon together. A representative of Tamko is also involved in the discussions.
Degree programs will provide more detailed information about the dates and mark them in the Valvomo table.
Dare to influence the quality of education and the affairs of your own degree program and join the feedback session for your own degree program!
5. TAMK Symphony & TAMK Opera presents: Mozart – La finta giardinera

The music education of Tampere University of Applied Sciences will bring W. A. Mozart’s comic opera La finta giardiniera to the Pirkkala Hall stage in March. The opera centers on Sandrina, a woman disguised as a garden-maid who has escaped a difficult and painful relationship. She is still searching for love and acceptance, but at the same time struggles with her own value and boundaries.
The young singers of TAMK Opera and the orchestra musicians of TAMK Symphony will build a performance with their interpretations, in which the sensitivity, humor and humanity of Mozart’s music stand out particularly brightly.

9. Physical Activity and Well-being Course

Physical activity and movement have been proven to improve study abilities and provide a foundation for future work ability. Movement enhances cognitive skills and boosts learning. At Tampere University of Applied Sciences and Tampere University, you can even earn credits for physical activity!
The Physical Activity and Well-being course (1 ECTS) is available to both TAMK and TAU students (through cross-institutional studies) throughout the year. You can register for the course in your own study system (Pakki or Sisu).
In this course, you will learn about the effects of physical activity on your study and work ability. You will also get to exercise and reflect on your current activity level. The goal of the course is to create a personal physical activity plan that supports you during your higher education studies. The highlight of this course is that you can move in any way you like—your imagination is the limit! You will also have free access 2 times to SportUni services. The course is completed online and can be done at your own pace.
Students of Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences apply for cross-institutional studies for the spring semester 2026 through their home institution’s study system (Pakki for TAMK, Sisu for the university). Approved credits will automatically transfer to the student’s home institution’s study records.
