1. Blood donation at TAMK 29th of November

Once again it’s the time to give up some blood when FRC Blood Service comes to TAMK. On Monday, 29th of October between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, come to the main campus (building B next to the dining area) and reach your helping hand! Please book an appointment to blood donation beforehand. To book an appointment in English call our free donor information line on 0800 05801, Mon-Fri 8-17. This event is accessible, so you can get to the place with the elevator. Please come to the donation site when your appointment starts.

If you’re unsure about your eligibility to donate, you can take an online test here (choose “In English” in the top left corner) and the momentarily blood need you can check here. Bring your ID card with you, because a student card isn’t enough. You’ll also need a Finnish social security number so that you can donate! You can also get a stamp on your Tursaspassi from the event!

What on earth is the Well-being tour? The idea of Well-being tour is to encourage students to get to know the student friendly services of city of Tampere. After you’ve tried out a service or services, you can answer to a feedback questionnaire. Culture and well-being gift cards will be raffled off among the respondents at the beginning of December. All winners will be notified via email.
