1. We’re looking for volunteers for Tursajaiset!
Do you have a valid license for order supervision? Or would you like to be a volunteer for Tursajaiset? If so, come to Tursajaiset on 16th of September from 12 o’clock onwards! As an incentive, we are offering staff pass with all the benefits, thank you sauna at Solu’s sauna and a free ticket to autumn’s greatest party, Alkumetri (4th of September)! 2. Tamko’s office Solu is open again
Tamko’s office Solu is open again after the summer. Solu services include student cards, SportUni fee, overall patches, event tickets and of course, advices and support to your questions about student life. Notice: for the time being Solu is open just for student services.
During the 1st period we are open:
Mon-Wed 10am to 4pm
Thu 10 am to 6pm
Fri 10 am to 2pm
Notice that we can change the opening hours for instance after the 1st period if needed. By following Tamko’s social media you can keep a track on the possible changes to the opening hours.
3. The Timetable Engine (Lukkarikone) for TAMK students has been updated
The Timetable Engine (Lukkarikone) has been updated. By logging in to the Timetable Engine, you will receive an automatic timetable order based on the courses you have registered for. To edit the Timetable Engine, first create a new template.
An earlier version of the Timetable Engine can be found at lukkaritold.tamk.fi. It will be operational until the end of 2020.
4. The campus libraries will open to customers 10th of August 2020
The premises and customer services of all five units of the Library will be opened to the members of the University community with access rights with limited service hours on Monday, 10th of August 2020. We will also open a book pick-up service point for non-Community customers in Hervanta.
According to the general guidelines of the University community, the facilities are available in accordance with the access rights on weekdays from 8.00 to 16.00.
To minimize the risk of infection and to identify potential chains of infection, staff and students will have access to campus and library facilities with their key card.
All premises continue to comply with the applicable safety instructions regarding safety intervals and hygiene instructions. We ask our customers to follow the above-mentioned safety instructions on the library premises.
Library units open at Linna, Hervanta, TAMK Main campus, and Arvo 10.8.2020 onwards – with key card:

TAMK Mediapolis unit is open according to TAMK’s opening hours and the customer service is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.00 to 14.00.
The online chat service is open Mon-Fri from 9 to 15.
The exemption arrangements are currently in force for the 1st period, ie until 18.102020. The arrangements will then be reviewed or, if necessary, before this, if circumstances so require. 5. Win tickets for SyysFest 2020!
Would you like to have a memorable day and participate in this year’s SyysFest in Särkänniemi? If your answer is yes, you can participate in a raffle where you can win a ticket to the event. Check out our post about the raffle from our Instagram for more information. We are raffling off two (2) tickets to the SyysFest.
You are entitled to enter the raffle, if you are a member of Tamko. The raffle will be done in 19.8.2020 and the we will contact the winners personally by 21.8.2020.
6. Opiskelijan Tampere SyysFest in Särkänniemi
Opiskelijan Tampere’s and Särkänniemi’s SyysFest is here again! For the third time this student festival will hit Särkänniemi in September the 1st. The ticket sales have already begun, you can get the ticket for 11€ from Kide.app. The ticket will be changed to a Särkänniemi wristband. You also need a valid student card or certificate.
In SyysFest Särkänniemi Theme Park is reserved for students only! All the craziest rides are open and also restaurants, kiosks and games. More information will come along the summer, so follow Opiskelijan Tampere on social media.
