1. We’re looking for volunteers for Tursajaiset!
Do you have a valid license for order supervision? Or would you like to be a volunteer for Tursajaiset? If so, come to Tursajaiset on 16th of September from 12 o’clock onwards! As an incentive, we are offering staff pass with all the benefits, thank you sauna at Solu’s sauna and a free ticket to autumn’s greatest party, Alkumetri (4th of September)! 2. Tamko’s office Solu is open again
Tamko’s office Solu is open again after the summer. Solu services include student cards, SportUni fee, overall patches, event tickets and of course, advices and support to your questions about student life.
During the 1st period we are open:
Mon-Wed 10am to 4pm
Thu 10 am to 6pm
Fri 10 am to 2pm
Notice that we can change the opening hours for instance after the 1st period if needed. By following Tamko’s social media you can keep a track on the possible changes to the opening hours. Also, for the time being Solu is open just for student services, so if you want to order and pick up your student card, validate the student card’s semester sticker or pay the SportUni gym membership fee.
3. Campusravita opening hours from 3.8.2020 and take-away meals
TAMK Campusravita restaurant opening hours from 3rd of August 2020 are as follows:
Week 32, Mon-Fri:
Lunch: from 10.15 am to 2.30 pm on lines B4, B5 and B6.
Delicafe opening hours from 8 amp to 4 pm.
Weeks 33-35, Mon-Fri:
Breakfast from 7.45 am to 9.15 pm, line B5
Lunch and take-away from 10.15 am to 5.30 pm, lines B4 and B5
Lunch and take-away, from 10.15 am to 2pm, line G5
DeliSalad from 10.15 am to 2 pm
Veggie/Vegan food from 10.15 am to 2 pm, line B3
DeliCafe from 8 am to 7 pm
CampusCafe from 9 am to 3 pm
CampusGrill opens later during fall
CampusShop from 9 am to 2 pm
Saturdays:
DeliCafe from 8.30 am to 2 pm
Lunch from 10.30 am to 1 pm, line B4.
Take-away meals:
You can buy take-away meals for two days at the same time. You must show your student card when buying the meals. You can also buy take-away food for your student friend, who cannot pick up their meals. You can buy meals for one or two days. You must also show your friend’s student card when picking up the order. All in all, you can buy take-away meals for youself and for one other student.

4. Win tickets for SyysFest 2020!
Would you like to have a memorable day and participate in this year’s SyysFest in Särkänniemi? If your answer is yes, you can participate in a raffle where you can win a ticket to the event. Check out our post about the raffle from our Facebook or Instagram for more information. We are raffling off two (2) tickets to the SyysFest.
You are entitled to enter the raffle, if you are a member of Tamko. The raffle will be done in 19.8.2020 and the we will contact the winners personally by 21.8.2020.
5. Tamko’s autumn campaign – win a 100€ S-group gift card!
Tamko’s traditional autumn campaign is here! This year we’re raffling off 5 pcs of 100€ S-group gift cards among Tamko members.
Two of the gift cards are raffled among new Tamko members who have applied with an electronic application form and paid for multi year membership. The other three gift cards will be raffled among all members of Tamko whose membership is valid on 1st of October 2020. Now is a great time to become a Tamko member or get your membership payment done for this autumn! More information.
6. Student’s Tampere SyysFest in Särkänniemi
Opiskelijan Tampere’s and Särkänniemi’s SyysFest is here again! For the third time this student festival will hit Särkänniemi in September the 1st. The ticket sales have already begun, you can get the ticket for 11€ from Kide.app. The ticket will be changed to a Särkänniemi wristband. You also need a valid student card or certificate.
In SyysFest Särkänniemi Theme Park is reserved for students only! All the craziest rides are open and also restaurants, kiosks and games. More information will come along the summer, so follow Opiskelijan Tampere on social media.
7. SportUni’s new season has started!
SportUni’s new season has started on 1st of August.
The SportUni fee is paid at your home University. There are different prices for Tamko members and non-members. SportUni fees for Tamko members are as follows: whole year: 75€m, autumn 44€ and spring 49€. For non-members the prices are: whole year 85€, autumn 50€ and spring 55€. Tamko members can make the payment at Tamko’s office (Kuntokatu 3, L-building) and non-members at Kuntokatu sport centre’s reception.
SportUni’s new group exercise season starts at 31 August. There will be a lot of different kind of group exercise classes in every SportUni centre. Group exercise calendar will be published at the beginning of August. Summer group exercise classes will be kept outside. More information from www.sportuni.fi.
