2. Tamko’s Christmas Party 19 December

Tamko’s Christmas party 2019 will be held on Thursday, 19th of December in Bricks. Pikkujoulut (little Christmas in Finnish) is an annual non-formal pre-Christmas party.

Get your ticket from Kideapp.fi (3€/member, 5€/non-member). Sale begins 4.12. With pre-sale ticket you will also get a Tamkos little christmas overall patch. Tamko’s little elves will give a Christmas present to one lucky participant who arrives before midnight with a pre-sale ticket! You can trade your pre-ticket for overall patch at Bricks (NB! limited amount of overall patches). There is no dress code so overalls are acceptable!

3. Portti työelämään – Gateway to Work-life 21 – 23 January 2020

Portti työelämään recruiting event comes again! The event is held at TAMK main campus lobby area on 21 – 23 January 2020 at 10am – 2pm. Welcome to fetch a work, trainee or thesis place!

The event is free for TAMK students and aims to create a low-threshold meeting place for students and representatives of different organizations. Event days are themed according to different fields of study but you should keep an eye on all event days and find the organizations which are the most interesting to you.

There’s a wide range of organizations attending to Portti työelämään and you can find the full listing of them from Portti työelämään website, Facebook event and later from the event catalogue. Check out the most interesting organizations from the listing and bring your CV with you.

In need of a CV prepping? No worries, you can get your CV checked at TAMK working life services’ CV stand in the event. There’s also an opportunity to have your photo taken by a professional photographer in a CV photo booth.

4. The Library System changes – do your Library business in time!

All of the library’s units are closed (14.12.12.-6.1.2020) and print-related customer functions online are disabled during the system change 14.12.2019 – 2.1.2020. This means that you will not be able to renew, lend, make reservations or pay your payments during the downtime. So, get all your library services up and running in time for next year!

The library’s online payment option will also be inactive in early 2020, so now it’s a good idea to take care of all libraries’ payments before the outage. The new library system will be opened online on 2.1.2020 and the library units will open with normal service hours on 7.1.2020.

More info about the change on library’s website.
