Tamko’s Council had a meeting at TAMK Main Campus on 5.2.2025. What is going on in Tamko?
Changes in the composition of the Council
We granted the Council’s deputy-members Kharon Saari, Tuukka Rintala, Tiuku Akkanen, Aaro Karsimus, and Niko Saarikoski their resigning from the Council. We updated the composition of the Council and the orders-of-priority for the lists Engineers, BBA Students, and Culture and media. This means that the next in line on the list will take the spot of the resigned Council member.
Notification matters
The Council’s Chairperson Riina Ahvenus was chosen for Campusravita Oy’s Restaurant Committee 2025. The Restaurant Committee is a way to influence school lunches, and it works as a direct channel to give student feedback. Tamko can also keep up to date when there is a student representative on the Restaurant Committee.
The Council wanted to advocate for student lunches by hosting a function with Campusravita. In the function, the Council can discuss school lunches directly with the CEO of Campusravita.
