Council’s meeting was held on the 19th of April 2023 in auditorium E1-09 at the main campus of TAMK. Meetings agenda was to check last years annual report, financial statement and auditor´s report. Also the council discharged last years board members and promoted Council’s deputy member as a regular member.

Promotion of a deputy member as a regular member
The Council’s regular member Jukka Eräpuro from SoTen Valitut Palat list has announced, that he will not continue in the Council. SoTen Valitut Palat list’s first deputy member Riku Tuominen has been promoted to Jukka’s place as a regular member.
Choosing the Central election’s board member of the Student’s Union of Tampere University of Applied Scienses.
Central election’s board is responsible for organizing the Council election. Jukka Eräpuro has announced, that he will not continue in the board. Mikko Vaskivuori ran for the position of the Central election board and he was elected to the duty.
Student representative of Tampere University of Applied Sciences’ higher education council 2023–2024
The Higher Education Council decides on the principles and curricula of the University of applied sciences’ quality management. The University Council has two student representative positions. Since Jukka Eräpuro expressed willingness to leave the position, a new member must be chosen to his place. Julia Väänänen was proposed as a new representative by the board. Julia Väänänen was selected as a representative to a higher education council 2023-2024.

Discharge of the Board of and other accountants from the financial year 2022
The council discussed about last year’s board and other accountants. The council decided to discharge last year’s board and other accountants.
TAMK Oy student member election for the board 2023-2024
A new student member is needed for TAMK Oys board. The council´s chairperson published 2 weeks beforehand a call for applications on Tamkos website. There were 1 application. The council accepted to present Linda Vallenius for the board of TAMK Oy.

At the next meeting the Council will discuss the themes of the Council elections and other issues related to the 2023 elections.
