8. Innovation Projects with Demola

For 15 years, Demola has provided university students with the opportunity to participate in innovation projects, creating new concepts for future needs. Interdisciplinary teams are formed by students who share an interest in the project topic and the opportunity to showcase the kind of world that should exist in the future, especially for companies or cities. Project themes range from sustainable development and business topics to societal and workplace changes, as well as the adoption of new technologies. Teams own the results of their work.
The 7-week process focuses on concrete innovation work, utilizing tools from service design, foresight, and systemic thinking. Creativity, curiosity, and optimistic thinking also develop during the process. Demola’s experts assist and mentor international teams throughout the process. The working language in our program is English.
If you’re interested, please apply our projects by February 16, 2025!
More information about the specific project topics in Tampere and the application link can be found on Demola’s website: https://portal.demola.net/?page=1&location=tampere
If you have any questions, you don’t have to face them alone. Demola’s Jere Wessman will be happy to answer them at jere@demola.net.
9. Survey: How do you travel between home and TAMK?

The carbon footprint calculation of Tampere University of Applied Sciences is once again relevant, and this time it will also include the assessment of the carbon footprint of commuting between home and the place of work or study. Therefore, we need your help. After the COVID-19 pandemic, work is done in a more diverse manner. People do not necessarily come to campuses regularly, they travel in diverse ways and to different campuses, and part of work is done remotely.
The survey is open until 21.2.2025
