What can I influence by voting?
- Students’ matters – and that means your own matters – in Tamko and at TAMK, in Tampere, and nationally and even on an EU level since the Council’s decisions affect Tamko’s stand on all kinds of matters
- Things that are important to you when you choose a candidate whose election themes are important to you
- By voting, you can affect that students’ voices from your study field are heard
How do I vote?
- Get to know the candidate lists and candidates on Tamko’s website. Because Council Elections are held as list election, like Parliamentary elections, you don’t only vote for person but also a candidate list.
- After choosing a candidate list you like, choose a candidate, that you wish to get elected, from it the list. Check out Tamko’s website. To make choosing a candidate easier, you will find candidate lists, candidates, their values, their introductions, and their study fields there. Click here to get to know candidates better: candidates page
- Click your way into your tuni email where you will find a link to vote. Then vote in the Council Elections!
- Reward yourself by getting a voting overall-patch from Tamko’s office or a Council Election stand.

Pack your PC and grab your favorite games and gaming buddies, because TiTeLAN will soon be here again! The darkening autumn weather will bring a chilling atmosphere this time also to our lanparty, where the theme is Halloween for the first time ever!
The lanparty will be held in the familiar location at Kauppi SportUni from 31 October to 2 November, and in addition to the traditional Pro Pilkki tournament, there will also be a Golf With Your Friends competition and of course prizes at both competitions. Naturally, in keeping with the season, the lanparty will also have a costume contest for the first time! The best costume will be awarded a grand prize and the choice will be made by public vote.
Many console games will also be brought to the lanparty, so it is still worth participating without your own PC. Rumor has it that there will be some refreshments for each participant! Those arriving with a computer should bring their own extension cord and network cable so that the battle station doesn’t get cold. The sauna, on the other hand, won’t leave anyone cold and it will warm up again on Friday and Saturday evenings, so bring a towel and swimsuits!
The event is open to all students and is completely alcohol-free. You can enter the venue through the SporUni main door and by ringing the lan event’s own doorbell.
