1. Gateway to Working Life has started!
Now is your chance to find yourself a summer job, internship or thesis topic right from the main campus! Gateway to Working Life recruitment event has started and over the next three days more than 100 companies will be on the main campus to introduce themselves to students and tell about their employment opportunities!
The event takes place in the lobby areas of the main campus, and there may be occasional congestion during the fair days.
The event is open every day from 10-14 and is free of charge.

You can also come and update your CV picture for free by a professional photographer or refine its contents in the CV clinic.

2. Hangouts board game night 5.2.
Welcome to Hangouts!
Tamko organise a board game night where you can challenge other players in board games in February! We offer different board games but you can also bring your own games. Come to Solu’s sauna in 5th if February at 5pm. You can also just come to hang out and enjoy the sauna and so bring your own sauna attire.
Tamko offers snacks and drinks but you can also bring your own snacks.
Hangouts is a free and alcohol-free event.

Student, be sure to vote in the presidential elections!
First round of the presidential election is on and by voting, you are influencing who will serve as president for the next six years. All Finnish citizens who turn 18 on election day 28 January 2024 at the latest are entitled to vote.
In the presidential election, you can vote for any candidate. In advance voting, you can vote at any polling station. All you need is a passport, ID card, driver’s license or other photo ID. Advance voting will be held in Finland on 17.-23.1.2024 so there is still time to vote in advance!

4. BetterTogether Valentine’s Day Event coming up!
Save the date – BetterTogether Valentine’s Day Event coming up!
TAMK Parvi, Tamko and Sportuni will organise the traditional BetterTogether- Valentine’s Day event at TAMK Main Campus on 14 Feb, 2024 at 11-15. During the day, there will be various workshops, communal stands and of course the traditional “lettupiste”- stand with freshly baked, heartwarming crepes. Various organisations and clubs will be present at the event. Save the date!
