Access to the main campus via the door in the corner of C and D buildings (Tekunkatu side) is available again with your access card. This means that access to Solu is easier and quicker! Come to hang around, have a cup of coffee or borrow some summer sports equipment!

Please be careful in the area since it is next to the construction site all through the spring and summer! Read more from intra: https://intra.tuni.fi/en/content/news/47560

2. Spring excursion to Makkarajärvi 16.5.

On this spring excursion we walk in the terrain of Makkarajärvi in Hervanta. We stop for a little lunch break, frying sausages by the campfire.

For the day, you need only outdoor clothing suitable for the weather and a happy mind.

The excursion is free and does not require a SportUni membership.

You can easily get to the meeting point by tram number 3.

Meeting point: Tram stop Hervantajärvi B
Time: Tuesday 16 May at 13:00–17:00

You can register to event by 14 May via the course listing on the course website

3. NääsPeksi is searching for musicans

Have you always wanted to spend the autumn with amazing people and musicians? Is eliasdsdf your most watched Youtube-channel? Are you good at improvisation with your own or even someone else’s instrument? Are you brave enough to tell your honest opinion on Fazer Remix-ice cream? If you answered “Indeed!”, you are the person we are looking for!

NääsPeksi’s speksiband is now looking for musicians and singers! In recent years, the band has consisted of guitarists, keyboard players, violinists, percussionists, horns, backing vocals, etc… even bass players! Unfortunately the band already has a drummer, but you can still join the audition and show your skills for upcoming years in mind. Surprising and “never before seen” instruments are also very welcome in the speksiband. The most important thing however, is mastering your own instrument as well as a good overall vibe!

The performance dates of the production will be around November, but the band will start training during the summer. After the band has been assembled, we will try to train with each other once every week. In addition to weekly practice, there will be two rehearsal weekends with the rest of speksi production during the autumn. In addition to performances in Tampere, NääsPeksi will also be performed in other parts of Finland!

If you are interested, please send an email with a title “Speksiband Application” to speksibandi@gmail.com. You can also get more information about NääsPeksi and the speksiband from the same address. In your application, tell us briefly about yourself and your background in music. If there are any videos of you playing, you can add a link (Youtube, Instagram…) in your application.  Submit your application as soon as possible, but on May 21, 2023 the latest!
