The Tampere Sightseeing Appro will take place on Thursday 1.10. the official birthday of the City of Tampere and kicking off the extensive programme of Tampere Day celebrations. The band new event is organised by Tamko and TREY but the appro as a concept is already familiar to students.
At the Tampere Sightseeing Appro, participants get to explore the city’s iconic sights and cafés. The route starts at Tampere City Hall and ends at the very top of Näsinneula of course!
The event route goes to cafes and iconic locations across the city and includes small task checkpoints that can be done either independently or with guidance. This means that some locations require a purchase to get a stamp, but there are also free checkpoints included.
You can do the tour however you like: on foot, by tram, by bus, or with a city bike! The event is also a great option for students with families or those who prefer to enjoy events on their own, as the event is very laid back.
The ticket costs 3€ for everyone and includes an overall patch, an appro pass and a elevator ticket to the top of Näsinneula.

The finish at Näsinneula is open from 19-21
There is no separate time limit for completing the appro. You can make your way through the event checkpoints freely within the opening hours mentioned above.
