Tamko’s Council had a meeting on 8.10.2025 at TAMK’s Main Campus. In the meeting, matters such as Tamko’s endorsement membership’s price and Tamko’s financial situation were discussed.
Vote in Tamko’s Council Elections!
The voting time in Tamko’s Council Elections is during 15.10.-5.11. This is your time to have an effect in your Students’ Union! By voting, you affect students’ matters – so your matters – in Tamko and TAMK, in Tampere, and nationally and even on a Europe-level since the Council’s decisions affect Tamko’s stance on lots of matters. You affect matters that are important to you when you choose a candidate whose election themes are important to you. Also, you can affect that students’ voices from your study field get heard. What have Tamko’s actors been up to?
Tamko’n toimijat’s actors have done city advocacy by for example meeting Tampere’s mayor Ilmari Nurminen. Also, Tamko’s actors have met with TAMK’s executives about current students’ matters and the candidates for the Union Board for 2026 of the National Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences – SAMOK.
The price of Tamko’s endoresement membership
The Council decided that Tamko’s endorsement membership’s price for 2026 shall be 50 euros for private persons and 200 euros for communities.
Tamko’s financial situation
The Council decided to give Tamko’s Board a mandate of a 50 000 euro investment deposit if needed and that the Council shall be presented with information of which funds the deposits were made of in the next meeting after the deposit. Also the Council requested a cash flow statement of the rest of the year. The Council decided that Board shall start figuring out updating the financial guidelines regarding investing.
