The voting for Tamko’s Council Elections is fully electronic and it begins on 15.10.2026 at 10 AM and ends on 4.11.2026 at 3 PM. All members of the Students’ Union of Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Tamko) who are registered as attending and have paid the Students’ Union’s membership fee have a right to vote in the elections.
The electronic voting IDs and a link to the service will be sent to members’ official TUNI email addresses and, in exceptional cases, to the other email address the member has given for the membership register. Members who have joined during the elections will receive their voting IDs with small delay by email.
There are 34 candidates standing in the Council Elections from eight different candidate lists: Enigneers, SoTe’s Chosen Ones, VETO-club, BBA Students, Culture and Media, On the right track, TAMK Leftists and Social Democrats.
More information about the Council Elections, candidate lists, and candidates can be found on Tamko’s website’s candidate page which will be updated soon.
The elections are conducted as proportional list system elections. That means that voters will vote not only for the candidate but also for their candidate list. The composition of the elected Council is determined by the popularity of the lists.
