Tamko would like to thank everyone who took part in the Spring It on event! Spring it on was held on April 13th at TAMK’s main campus in honor of the students’ mental health day and return to campuses.
During the day, student associations and clubs organized activities at their stands and handed out some sweets. In addition to the main performer Samae Koskinen, we also heard live music from Tamkeys and the MusTa house band.
Tamko and student pastor Jussi Houttu baked pancakes for about 500 people in the sunshine during the day! The weather also favored the crew of the Social Circus, who guided everyone to try all sorts of tricks from juggling to nostalgic diabolo tricks. The moctails of the Hospitality Management students were a hit and the wall of complimets was filled with encouraging messages.
We warmly thank all the participants and organizers! The event brought a much-needed feel of community spirit to the campus after the pandemic. Spring is on the way, now towards summer!
