Autumn is at the door and it’s undeniably a beautiful season in Finland with the forests turning all kinds of bright reds and yellows!
Come have a relaxing and nature immersed walk with Globe and Tampio in Makkarajärvi, Hervanta on 14.10.23 at 16:00. The walk will be in the forest and swamp area, near a small lake, we will walk approximately 4 km.
Of course, because it’s Makkarajärvi (Sausage lake) after our walk we will have delicious sausages cooked on a fire in the camping area (and marshmallows too of course).
You can bring a snack if you want, but as said there will be enough for everyone. We will additionally have some juice. Take a bottle of water with you though!
The tickets for members of GLOBE and forestry students are 0€, for all other students and non-members 2€.
For the walk, make sure that you are dressed warmly enough and cover your skin properly. Wear a hat and rubber boots as we might walk in the swamp!
It can get cold in October so make sure to have enough layers.
Makkarajärvi is in Hervanta, we will meet at the tram stop HERVANTAJÄRVI at 16:00 and start our walk together! Be on time, so we can enjoy the sunlight during the walk and sunset at the camping site.
