3. Sping Break 25 February - 1 March

TAMK is having Spring Break on 25 February - 1 March which means that most teachers are not teaching but some are, please check from your teachers!

4. CLINT is looking for new officers!

CLINT (Club International Tampere) is looking for new officers to join the club. CLINT Officers are like our Event Organizers, but without the heavy load of responsibilities. Unlike our Organizers, Officers can choose events and tasks they are interested in. They can also carry out their own events with the help of CLINT members! That being said, Officers don’t have to be all about events; they can also be interested in other areas like marketing or photographing. After all, hobbies and peculiarities are the things that makes CLINT different every year! Everybody’s got the chance to bring a little bit of themselves in our missions.

If you’re interested in dipping your toe or completely throwing yourself into our little club’s life, sign up to become a CLINT Officer!

Sign up by filling in this form.

5. Tiro and Tampio's ice fishing event 9 March

Welcome to the annual ice fishing event, hosted by student associations TIRO and TAMPIO! The event will take place in Suolijärvi beach in Hervanta on Friday 9th of March. The event begins at 13:00 and ends 19:00. The sauna will be ready circa 16:00. Snacks and hot drinks will be served for free.

There are magnificent prices in the ice fishing competition! It doesn’t matter if you don’t have your own ice fishing equipment because it’s possible to lend some. Baits are sponsored by the organizers. If ice fishing is not your cup of tea, you can try other winter activities like mölkky, kyykkä and ice swimming. Tickets will be available in the Kide.app with the price of 4€. Tickets will also be sold later at TAMK.

6. TaRe's traditional sledding evening 6 March

TaRe’s traditional sledding evening, Lumikenttien kutsu (the call of the snowfield), is here again! Get in your overalls (preferred but not mandatory!) and come sledding with us to Saukonpuisto on 6th of March starting at 4pm. After the outdoor event, the evening continues at Solu’s sauna where we have some snacks prepared for you. The event is free for all participants.

You can take your own sledding equipment with you but TaRe will bring a few pieces of sleds and gliders to common use. Just head towards Saukonpuisto and have some fun!

7. March overall party - Magic in the air 7 March

Abracadabra! In March, Magic takes over at the night club Ilona on 7 March at 21:00 when Overall party is celebrated with a magical theme.

Evening's headliner is magician and mentalist Johannes Malkamäki who will create miraculous illusions and astounding magic. He is one of Finland's few magicians who can combine smoothly mentalism and interactive magical illusions.

Haalaribileet is the most legendary student party in Tampere. The party is held every month on the first Thursday after student allowance. Come and join the party in the most sparkling and glamorous night club of the city, Viihdemaailma Ilona! (Verkatehtaankatu 3).

Doors open in Ilona at 21:00. Tickets: 3,30 € in advance from Kide.app or 5 € from the door. Advance tickets include passage past the regular queue until 23:00. We wish that cloakroom would only be used for coats, not for backbags or bags.

Our six partner companies are Lappset Group, Kemira Oyj, Santa Claus Holiday Village, Suomen Hoivatilat Oyj and Kaleva Media. So there is a great variety of challenges to pick from!
