1. Tamko's office opening hours during independent study week

Tamko's office Solu is open on independent study week (25 - 28 February) with reduced opening hours from Monday to Thursday at 10:00 - 14:00. On Friday, 1st of March, we're closed.

 

2.  Tamko's evening 20 February

Welcome to play board games, sew overall patches' and meet new people on 20th of February at 17:00 - 21:00! You can bring some games, activities etc. with you. Tamko offers some light snacks and drinks.

You will get a stamp on your Tursaspassi from this event. Please note that the happening is non-alcoholic. Welcome to Solu!



3. Blood donation at TAMK 26 March

It is time to reach out your helping hand again when Finnish Red Cross's Blood Service comes to TAMK. Come to the Main Campus's B lobby on Tuesday, 26th March at 11:00 - 15:00.

The event is accessible as you can get there by using the elevator.

You can check your suitability as a donor from here. Please remember to take your ID with you as your student card is not sufficient enough. Note that you will also need a Finnish social security number in order to donate.

4. Welcome to career workshops!

Career workshop: "Applying for a job in Finland" on 12th March at 14:30 - 16, TAMK Kuntokatu Main Campus, classroom B2-19.

How do you apply for a job in Finland? What kind of skills, documents and knowledge do you need in job searching in Finland? If you need basic information about how to apply for a job in Finland, you are warmly welcome to discuss these matters in a workshop.

Career workshops are meant for all TAMK students. The workshop offers tips and tricks for job hunting, recognizing your strenghts and how to overall improve the career planning skills. There's no registering, you can just pop in!



5. NääsPeksi is looking for an editor!

The student theatre organization NääsPeksi is looking for an editor or two to manage our written history project. We are starting the project due to our forthcoming 20th anniversary this fall. We already have over ten journalists and graphic designers, but we need someone to manage the schedule and make the final decisions.

If you are not interested in being an editor in the project, you can also sign up to be

- Informer: if you have previous memories or stories to share about our organization

- Journalist: if you are interested in editing, writing, interviewing or generating ideas

6. Bar Studio 20 February - Viva la Mexico!

Ay caramba! This time Bar Studio goes Mexico on Wednesday, 20th February at 16:00 - 21:00. Come and taste our crunchy nacho plate, delicious churros and fell in love with our latino themed drinks or enjoy a beer to wash it down with. Prices are of course student friendly and the plate sizes satisfying. Bienvenidos!

Catering studio is situated in G -building at TAMK Main Campus, next to Campusravita restaurant. The entrance can be found also from outside.



7. March overall party - Magic in the air 7 March

Abracadabra! In March, Magic takes over at the night club Ilona on 7 March at 21:00 when Overall party is celebrated with a magical theme.

Evening's headliner is magician and mentalist Johannes Malkamäki who will create miraculous illusions and astounding magic. He is one of Finland's few magicians who can combine smoothly mentalism and interactive magical illusions.

Haalaribileet is the most legendary student party in Tampere. The party is held every month on the first Thursday after student allowance. Come and join the party in the most sparkling and glamorous night club of the city, Viihdemaailma Ilona! (Verkatehtaankatu 3).  

 

Doors open in Ilona at 21:00. Tickets: 3,30 € in advance from Kide.app or 5 € from the door. Advance tickets include passage past the regular queue until 23:00. We wish that cloakroom would only be used for coats, not for backbags or bags.
