The electoral system used is called as the proportional representation in which multiple candidates are elected through allocations to an electoral list. This means that candidates who share the same field of study or the same ideology are on the same electoral list. So when you're giving your vote to a candidate, you're also voting for the candidate's electoral list. The constitution of a new council is therefore based on electoral list's percentage of the ballot.

Demands for rectification of the electoral lists should be given to the chairperson of Tamko's central election committee Tiia Lempinen by 8.10. (tiia.lempinen(at)soc.tamk). Electoral lists are visible at, Tamko's office (Solu) and on campuses' noticeboards from week 40 until the end of voting time.

Regulations for campaign advertising

Campaign advertising should be done according to the Finnish law and University/ campus regulations in all campuses. Advertising cannot be carried out immediacy of the voting sites and computer rooms (during the electrical advance voting). All candidate posters on Tamko's noticeboards should include Tamko stamp. Tamko's central election committee will remove all stampless posters from Tamko's noticeboards.

The chairperson of Tamko's central election committee
